Veganomicon: The Ultimate Vegan Cookbook by Isa Chandra Moskowitz
3.0
A solid 3.5 stars. This is a dense book with no shortage of interesting plant-based recipes to try, along with helpful guides to essential vegan ingredients and recommended preparation/cooking methods.
That said, I found the scarcity and quality of the photographs disappointing, and while I appreciated the authors' relaxed, accessible tone, I disagreed with their assessments of certain ingredients and techniques. For me, this one fell just a bit short of being the *ultimate* vegan cookbook, but it is still a worthy one to keep in your collection.
