The Sandman, Vol. 1: Preludes & Nocturnes by Neil Gaiman

4.0

I basically went to the library and emptied the [a:Neil Gaiman|1221698|Neil Gaiman|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1234150163p2/1221698.jpg] shelf. Read [b:Coraline|20764916|Coraline|Neil Gaiman|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1625404782l/20764916._SY75_.jpg|2834844] before and am reading [b:American Gods|349347|American Gods (American Gods, #1)|Neil Gaiman|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1660269978l/349347._SY75_.jpg|1970226] at the moment. You could call this a phase.

I find it most difficult to rate this. I kept wondering whether the story is odd or whether I am simply not used to comics/GNs and didn't quite get the story. The beginning was confusing me, I'm still not entirely sure I got the story but I guess I'll go on reading a few more volumes and make a decision then.

Update after a first re-read: Liked it much more than the first time around!
