Dead is not an Option by Marlene Perez is the fifth and final book of the Dead Is series centering around Daisy Giordano and her family and friends.
In Nightshade, an intense vampire and shifter war is going on and are vampire and shifter attacks. This not only splits the town of Nightshade into factions, but it also splits the Giordano sisters because Daisy and Rose both date weres while Poppy is seeing a vampire.
Daisy also is close to graduating and has yet to hear from a college. She's also trying to keep her promise to the jukebox, Lil, to free her from the jukebox along with turning Balthazar, the pig, back into her fiance, Bam. Will Daisy go to college and can she turn Lil back into the girl she used to be? Will the rift between vampires and shifters be solved? Find out in this last installment.
I looooved this book. I was sad to finish it. I loved reading about Daisy and her family and friends. I'm glad there is going to be a spin-off series. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and hope that Daisy and her friends make an appearance.
