Another great small town cowboy romance to add to my collection. This was a nice and easy read but with nothing of true substance if I’m honest which is where my rating comes from. It felt like I’d read this story line before (quite common let’s be honest, city girl moves to the country and falls for the famous broody cowboy) but there was nothing to make it different or stand out from others that grabbed me.
Though I LOVED Anna and Brody and their love for each other and seeing how it grew, it just fell a bit flat for me. A great build up of overcoming issues that were really well written, then it was just done. Like, the ending, all this build up for their future and it gave us a glimpse in a few paragraphs. I simply needed more and that’s my problem I suppose!
Would recommend, it hit all the marks with what I signed up for. Also shout out to the girl gang, Poppy and Bryce can be my BFFs any day.
