It felt like a few plot points popped up to make an impact and then fizzled out pretty quickly, where neither character really made a big comment about it nor did it really go anywhere. To the point where I don't know if the comic was showing it as a bad thing? Or just... a thing that happened.

I understand too that it is a gory comic but at times it almost feels like there aren't stakes when you see someone get badly injured. There are some miraculous recoveries in this.

But bro Invincible is so cool, Definitely up there as one of my favourite superheroes, I have been getting through these books so fast.
I can confidently say that Omni Man would destroy Homelander in a fight, it's not even a competition.

The side characters are (generally) very interesting and likeably, so when Invincible isn't the focus it's still a good read.
It's always good fun for a side plot from ages ago to return and be more prevalent to the story, like a villian that was sidelined. It's something that lead to perhaps one of my favourite moments from this book.
