The Bandit Queens by Parini Shroff

Did not finish book. Stopped at 58%.
This was so, so slow and I got pretty far but I couldn’t force myself to keep going. I was expecting more of a cozy mystery vibe but it was not that. Really wished the pace was faster!

But also, the content was quite heavy/sad and I didn’t really want to continue after an attempted r*pe on page.
