WOW! That opening was 🔥. Completely unexpected and I was HERE for the darker turn of events. Not only is this the slightly darker book in the duology, it's also spicier by far. I love the relationship between Kitarni and Dante. The moments between Kitarni and her sister, Eszter, were also super sweet. However, András has to be my favourite side character because he always has the most amusing lines. I would have liked to see more of Margit and Imre though. The ending of this book was perfection, and the last line really made me smile

I wasn't surprised by Caitlin's betrayal, but it was surprising to see just how far she was willing to go. I found it hilarious when Kitarni and Dante were locked in to 'talk'. Such a good scene! I was already sad when Dante's dad died, but for both him and Kitarni to lose their parents on the same day was really emotional. Especially since Dante then went and killed his mum, although that was only sad in principle
