This had all the best taboo elements… age gap, student/teacher and a morally grey MMC with the added bonus of spooky, gory, dark thrillery vibes. 

It didn’t take long to really get sucked into this world. I feel like the concept pretty unique. This book is full of mysterious situations that keep unraveling as the story goes on, some of which have twists I definitely didn’t see coming. 

The romance element definitely felt like more of a slow burn but it was so worth the wait. These two were well matched in a lot of ways but their intellect and passion for solving the same problem really makes them perfect for one another. 

I really enjoyed this one!
