Quick recap: Ethan, airman & k-9 handler, gets set up with Isabella, widow and school teacher. Ethan does a hefty amount of perusing. Izzy’s hung up on the tragic, accidental death of her first husband. There’s also some strain between Izzy and her dad.
This one was of those books where I liked and hated it at the same time.
I wanted more Sam (Ethan’s k-9 partner), less random bursts of indignation over Ethan’s protectiveness and I want to know what the hell happened to the kid at the beginning of the book!
