I loved this book! I found the pace quite slow however, I think this added to the overall experience and allowed me to connect with the characters, so even if you’re not a fan of slow paced stuff I’d still give it a try! As well as this, the book was a perfect mix of historical drama with some small hints of fantasy. It’s a book that I never would have picked up if it wasn’t for someone letting me borrow a copy, but I’m so glad I did read it, please give it a go!
