Choosing You by M. Robinson

I am conflicted about this book.
The writing is good, interaction with the Hero's kids etc but I am adverse to a Hero who is hung up on an ex troupe.
I think the problem is the reader can feel as though the current heroine is second choice and the author dies address this and tries hard to make the current heroine his 'one' but i feel you will always get mixed opinions.
The heroines background is rough, her ex etc and I wasn't keen on the gang speech.
The coincidences at the end felt a bit contrived and the attitude to the previous Mrs by the Hero was a bit bizarre.
HEA.
Epilogue.
Secondary characters, ending leads to the possibility of another book the author says will be out in the summer.
