I can’t help but be a bit disappointed by this read unfortunately… First of all, although the story is pretty low stakes throughout, I wouldn’t call it a cozy book either so going into it expecting coziness was a bit of a let down. Also, to me the ending was definitely rushed, maybe it was a conscious choice from Heather Fawcett because Emily starts to loose track of time because of her enchantment but the pacing didn’t really match with me still. What I do love about this book is the subtle autism rep (Emily is very obviously autistic to me) and also all the research Emily was doing on faeries, it was so fascinating to me !!! Also her and Wendell’s relationship was so fun to read about
