Overall I enjoyed this book but feel like it could have been refined and polished a bit more. I felt the relationship between Midas and Auren was underdeveloped and wished we saw more of them before the events of the novel to understand their relationship more.
SpoilerI hope in the next entries we see more of Auren coming to terms with the fact that she was groomed and manipulated by Midas as in the actual writing itself she’s totally oblivious but also not at the same time as it’s very obvious, especially considering it’s in first person

I hope we also see some more development of the other girls in the story such as Polly and Rissa, as at the moment they have little to no personality aside from not liking Auren.
Issues aside with some of the story points, the read was fast paced and decently paced as well and I do plan on reading the next entry into the series.
