Like most Classics, this started out fairly slow. I still enjoyed the story! But I did start to wonder if there was a point to it other than wandering around the estate and being (figuratively) haunted by Rebecca. But when the story picked up, it picked up very quickly, and it left a very strong impression on me.
The thing is - I'm writing this review months after I read it, and I still can't identify any specific feelings I have about this book. But I can say that this is a book that's going to stick with me for a very long time - if not forever. In a good way... I think...
