I love ice cream. Now that I have kids who also love ice cream (or frozen yogurt), they get to eat it with lots of stuff on it. Because they never finish it, I always do, melty, messy swirled up grossness. That's how this book felt to me: like the result of a mixed together mess. I like dystopian YA lit so much though, I ate it anyway. There were just way too many moments that came straight from other, better texts, that it was hard to lose myself in the story. It was also 200 pages too long. And then the interviews at the end made me strongly dislike the author, who seemed thoroughly conceited. Not a must read, but ok if you're into dystopia.
