The Oath of the Vayuputras by Amish Tripathi

4.0

Having realized that good and evil are two sides of the same coin with the guidance of Vasudevs, the tribe of Vishnu, Shiva prepares for the final battle to destroy the evil to fulfill his destiny as the Neelkanth. In this journey, he discovers his relations with the Vayuputras, tribe left by the previous Mahadev.

The book answered many questions which arose in the first two parts, giving the trilogy a good wrap-up. Just like the previous books, the descriptions of the scenes were picturesque. I liked the way the author gave scientific explanations to more or less every 'divine' phenomenon such as excessive good turning into evil and also the third eye of Shiva. The plot was bit too long and was a drag at a few places but maybe that was required to conclude so many open areas in the trilogy.
