Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo is a captivating addition to the Grishaverse series. This installment marks a significant improvement over its predecessors, offering a more complex plot and a deeper dive into the characters.

One of the highlights of this book is Alina Starkov's continued development. We witness her grappling with the darkness within her, exploring the power of the Sun Summoner in new and intriguing ways. Bardugo does an excellent job of portraying Alina's internal conflict and her journey towards self-discovery.

The world-building in Siege and Storm is also impressive. The author expands upon the Grishaverse, introducing new locations and characters that enrich the narrative. The political intrigue and the growing threat to the Grisha realm keep the reader engaged throughout.
