Where Good Girls Go To Die, by Holly Renee

emotional fast-paced

2.0

The first half of the book was solid with a good amount of tension between Parker and Liv. But even then the fact that Parker is engaged to Emily and pining for Liv from the beginning is more than a little uncomfortable. It isn't one of the cases where he slowly falls back in love, no, he is emotionally cheating on Emily from chapter one onwards.
SpoilerThis then leads to physical cheating, while still engaged to Emily the day before the wedding rehearsal.

After Parker and Liv then get together it is just one sex scene after the other with no plot for the last third of the book. I don't mind a smutty scene but I prefer them sparse and only when they further the plot in some way.
