I do so love journey novels. That's why one of my favourite TV series is "The X Files" -- the beauty is in the QUEST. In the seeking. And then is definitely that kind of book -- it's Allyson's journey as she looks for Willem and more importantly, for the lost version of herself - for Lulu.

Willem holds my wrist for a long moment, looking at that birthmark. Then he lifts it to his mouth. And though his lips are soft and his kiss is gentle, it feels like a knife jamming into the electrical socket. It feels like the moment when I go live.

. Ahem. I pretty much FELT Allyson wet her pants right about then and I was with her -- Willem is astonishingly sexy for a YA novel and you could tell he knew what he was doing. That is devastatingly attractive.
