Every Breath You Take, by Mary Higgins Clark
4.0
Solid book. Logical killer, reasonable motive without being obvious.
Except the whole going on a date and getting engaged within an hour of a police shoot out. But that's a minor detail.
On a larger note, I really dont care for Laurie's relationship with Alex. They have no chemistry and doesnt seem like they love each other. The only reason I know they're together is because they think "I miss him" and he said he loved her one time in five books.
I'd just drop the romance angle altogether.
