Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller
5.0
Let's just say that Tricia Levenseller became one of my favorite authors just by writing this incredible duology. I'm such a big fan of her writing, her storytelling and her characters.
I loved Alosa and Riden's dynamic. I especially liked that their relationship didn't overshadow or take away from the story. Alosa's an incredible heroine who doesn't need a guy to be incredible. But having one does spice things up a little bit. I especially enjoyed their bickering.
In this book, we got a chance to know Alosa's crew and got an insight into her past. Every character was given a little bit more depth so that you were able to get attached and form your own... ships.
I loved the way this book was going. It was an adventure and I really liked it.
I have to say again that I love Alosa's character. She's stubborn, intelligent, very well trained and just overall a great protagonist.
