I feel like this book had really great potential and after reading the blurb I was really excited but it just didn't go anywhere.
There were so many opportunities for character development that were squandered. Ultimately, I just didn't feel any emotional attachment with Torie because it didn't feel like she had grown at all and so she didn't feel entirely real.
The last 25% is the best bit but if I hadn't been reading this for a book club I don't think I would have got that far.
