How to Kill Men and Get Away With It by Katy Brent

1.0

Buckle up, because I have some things to say. 😐

(This review includes spoilers)

I want to start off by saying that the concept is AMAZING but the execution was absolutely terrible. This book is the definition of white feminism, and it really feels like it was written by a man. These characters have weird a$$ names and are so insanely annoying. The kills are so unrealistic, and the plot is really predictable. But my main issue with this book is that the main character, "Kitty Collins," is so weak in the knees for men that it's actually embarrassing. She radiates this insane "But not ALL men are bad" energy. Not to mention that she was literally giving her boyfriend A BL0W J0B RIGHT AFTER READING SEXUAL ASSAULT CONFESSIONS OF VICTIMS WHO ARE DEEPLY TRAUMATISED 😀‼️Also, I don't understand why Kitty had no problem after finding out that Charlie was still working with James, despite knowing that he is a rapist. Moreover, the ending got me so mad because she killed Hen. Mind you, she made rules, and one of the rules was that she would never kill a woman. I'm just so disappointed because I really wanted to love this book since the concept is so cool. The only thing enjoyable was the humor at the beginning. I can't get over the BJ scene that was really my last straw because at that exact moment, I knew that this was going to be a one-star read. I do not recommend reading this sh!t. Go read "My Sister the Serial Killer" instead.
