It seems that anything Madeline Miller writes I will love unconditionally. She could write a grocery list and I would adore it.
But the comparison is unworthy of course.
This book was bound to be a little all over the place since Circe lived such a long live, but every story, every little happing we as the readers felt as if it were our own. We felt her joy and grieved with her and in the end, the most perfect ending that made this book even better than I imagined, though the story was one that existed for so many years, you managed to still make everything feel new and fresh and even the ones who know her story will enjoy this without any doubt.
I grieve a little now that I'm done reading this book. I've been trying to stretch my time reading this since I enjoyed it so much and ate up every sentence, but everything must come to an end and finishing this fantastic book I am grateful to be one of the people that had the privilege of reading this.
Thank you Madeline Miller for the two masterpieces you have blessed us with. I'm looking forward to reading your other, sadly shorter, books and enjoying them just as much.
