A Test of Wills by Charles Todd

5.0

This cleverly crafted mystery achieves a difficult task: it is an enticing mystery as well as a psychological study of war, PTSD, love, and grief. Taking place after the end of the Great War, Ian Rutledge is back in England with a voice in his head from "shell shock" and a desperate need to be an inspector again, to prove his wellness and sanity. Highly recommend to any mystery / history lovers.
