How to Be Autistic by Charlotte Amelia Poe

dark hopeful informative inspiring reflective relaxing fast-paced

3.0

You know how you skim read some books? It feels like this one was skim-written :( there was so much potential here, and I feel like I could have learned a lot from Amelia, but they just didn't dig deep enough into their innermost thoughts, or research around the disorder.
However they have a lovely narrative voice, and I commend them for their candor surrounding their traumas. This gave me another insight into life with autism as a late-diagnosed AFAB person, and nothing about that could be a negative.
