I wanted to like this so much more than I did.
Sapphic retelling of Snow White? ✅
Smutty fantasy’s romance? ✅
The first point off for me was the first person POV. I’m not going to yuck someone else’s yum, but first person just isn’t for me.
The only other issue I had was that the plot seemed a little… half baked. The authors clearly knew what story they wanted to tell, however some deeper diving into the details of that story and some fine tuning would have done this book so much good.
Those things aside, I did enjoy this book. It’s a sweet and sexy romance. If you’re looking for a fun and easy read with some goooooood spice, this is for you.
