Letters Across the Sea by Genevieve Graham

4.75

I was heartbroken by this book. Towards the end, I started crying so much because of the horrific reality of what had happened. The world is fully aware of the Holocaust and the actions of the Germans during World War II, but hardly anyone talks about the Japanese. It was only after reading this book that I realized that even with all of the war literature I have read, I still do not know the whole truth about what went on during that time.
