I am Not Sick, I Don't Need Help!: How to Help Someone With Mental Illness Accept Treatment by Xavier Francisco Amador

Recommended in a lunch time presentation I attended a while back on depression. His LEAP method seems applicable for various types of difficult conversations, not just those related to mental illness. I skipped a few chapters that were not relevant to my reading purpose, but I can go back later if necessary. I read the later chapters on the related research. Those were a little dry, and some readers may prefer to skim. If you don't read every word of the book, focus on the chapters that explain the basics of how to use LEAP.
