Shoot the Moon by Billie Letts

4.0

SHOOT THE MOON tells a compelling story set against an atmospheric Southern backdrop. The setting is colorful, the characters are quirky and Letts' prose is engaging. I thought I had the mystery all figured out, but there were some surprises that caught me off-guard, leading to a killer I never suspected. Overall, this novel kept me engaged and entertained. I enjoyed it. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. Since I can't, I'm rounding up.
