Did not finish book. Stopped at 15%.

And a bit three chapters from the close.  A man impulsively arrives at a dangerously ramshackle house that he decides to repair via YT videos while having no DIY experience, and then doesn’t ask the hardware store owner for ANY help.  Just to set up a grumpy -sunshine dynamic, looks like.  Bah, couldn’t continue.  There are probably other complexities but don’t care.
