Verity by Colleen Hoover
Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
I kept reading since I wanted to see what was going on [because of spoilers I won't get into, but the suspense which got me to want to read it in the first place] but the more I read, the more I disliked Lowen more than Verity to the point I don't feel like this book deserved to be finished. I don't know if it gets worse, but clearly, even basically the first half is really bad.
Graphic: Grief, Car accident, Blood, Misogyny, Death, Child death, Pregnancy, and Abortion
Moderate: Sexual content, Cancer, and Toxic relationship
Lowen kinkshames her ex and acts like no one should be into that(even though the book hints at potentially a sexual relationship with Jeremy that doesn't seem as vanilla as she'd like everyone else to have), and later on reading Verity's autobiography (warning for anti-choice comments)
