This was a truly outstanding read with some great action and some truly great characters. I love the way T. Chris Martindale writes as you really feel like you are within the cold dark forest.
There may be some details and folk lore that do not hold up to a modern eye, but I am not sure as I do not have the background to say it definitively one way or the other. I will say that the Native American characters felt like real characters and are a million times better than how they are written in most horror of this time period.
High recommend.
