I know I say "these characters need so much therapy" (because they do) a lot in romance reviews but this is a whole extra level of "please, please get therapy". There is a rollercoaster of "are they-aren't they" emotional romance non-sense that revolves almost exclusively around people mucking up their kids and the kids (now our adult characters) needing therapy.

It ends on a positive, hopeful note and discussions about "talking to someone" about certain topics (though sadly not for both characters and not for everything) but you have to be ready to fully buckle-in.

Sadly, the second book nearly drags the first books rating into a lower star, 2.5*

Excellent narration!
