A Kiss to Remember by Teresa Medeiros

3.0

A story with quite a few tropes including the sleeping beauty theme reversed, amnesia, mistaken identity and enemies to lovers.

Laura Fairleigh needs to find a husband before her 21st birthday if she is to keep the house according to her late benefactress and after receiving a missive from the new owner, the notorious Duke of Devonbrooke, aka Devil of Devonbrooke, Sterling Harlow, basically informing her that she will need to leave, she takes desperate measures to avoid that.

Those measures include using an unconscious man she stumbled upon in the forest, who apparently has amnesia, as her betrothed, who will save her and her siblings from the clutches of Devonbrooke, in Laura's mind.

Little does she know that he actually is Devonbrooke and her scheme's result will be a lot different than what she expected.

Enjoyable story that concludes the Fairy Tales series and also introduces the heroine of the next book in the Fairleigh Sisters series, [b:One Night Of Scandal|350679|One Night Of Scandal (Fairleigh Sisters, #2)|Teresa Medeiros|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1389057075s/350679.jpg|2114553], Carlotta, aka Lottie.
