This was a really fun and sweet opposites attract story with a solid mix of heartwarming, steamy, and funny moments. Eden & Saxon do a really good job of not putting their characters into very specific boxes and none of the storylines felt cookie-cutter. Except of course when it came to some of the hockey games but you need those feel-good moments in a sports romance! I love the team dynamics that we see building in this book 1 of the series. Zach's sweet and slightly naive personality was endearing and Foster's protectiveness was just the right amount. And the steam between these two just kept getting better!

The scene with Foster's parents when he came out to them was straight out a sitcom with the parents thinking that his brother Seth was the one who liked men. It was a funny, awkward moment that fit in perfectly. As a Montreal Canadiens fan, I was so excited when Foster signed with that team!
