We Live Inside Your Eyes by Kealan Patrick Burke

5.0

The stories in this horror collection were really captivating and immersive. I really felt as if I were there; I could feel the dank are pressing around me and choking me with mold spores. I had tingles down my spine and nightmares from some of the imagery. It was a good mix of stories and I liked that they were all encapsulated within a framing story that pulled them together.

I dont want to give anything away because half the thrill is reading and discovering for yourself, but I will say that my favorite stories were The Traveler, Mannequin Challenge, A Wicked Thirst, and the House on Abigail Lane. Even though I really liked all the stories, these in particular seemed to stick with me. I also enjoyed the notes about the stories at the end. Even though I was able to understand the general meaning behind what Kealan Parrick Burke was trying to convey, it's always nice to hear the authors inspiration from the source.

Definitely read this one!
