Nash has spent his whole life feeling not good enough.  His mother made it clear very early that her husband, Nash's step-dad, was more important that he would ever be.  Nash spent a lot of time making bad choices to get her attention.  It didn't work and at 15she kicked him out to live with his uncle Phil.  Phil got him on a better path.  Taught him everything, gave him a job at Marked (he owns the shop) shaped him into a man they are both proud of.

Saint went to high school with Nash where she had the biggest crush on him.  She was over weight and had bad skin; was made fun of a lot but Nash was the exception. He was nice to when no one else was.  Until she over heard him say some mean things that broke her heart.  She ran away to college and thought she would never see Nash again.  But fate had other plans.

I loved Saint's heart.  She was so compassionate, caring, giving and loving.  Becoming a nurse was beyond fitting.  It was just so heart breaking that she couldn't see her worth and beauty - inside and out.  I struggled with her hang ups and approach to Nash - but I think that was the point, so that we could feel Nash's frustrations too.  But I really loved her and thought she was perfect for Nash.  Any man did he need her.  His world was falling apart and she brought him peace in his turmoil.  Having Saint during this time gave him a safe place to fall, the courage to confront his mom and accept that the man Phil raised him to be is enough.  Another great read with quite a few emotional moments.  A story about finding yourself and accepting you are enough.
