I always have a lot of fun reading Foxfield's books. As I've come to expect, it was a page-turner full of thrilling elements, and it's definitely one of her best. The setting and atmosphere of this book were done really well, however I did find the characters to be not as well-developed as they could have been.
And for a book where the entire point is that people can't be shoe-horned into stereotypes, this felt like a bit of a let down.
