This was a cute read. This is Cope’s and Xander’s story. Xander is coming to help his aunt on her farm while she has and recovers from surgery. He meets Copeland (Cope) when his car breaks down on the way to help his aunt.
The way I loved Cope was insane. His character was just so wholesome and sweet.
Xander was a very lovable character as well, charming and stubborn. I’m glad he finally got his HEA.
These two are drawn together pretty instantly. Cope doesn’t understand it but just goes with it, he feels how he feels right? Xander is more reserved, he does have a boyfriend, Henry, at the time, nothing happens between Cope and Xander until he breaks up with Henry.
The story mostly centers around their growing friendship and then attraction more so than the rodeo. It’s not overly spicy but we do get some spice further into the book.
