Graphic: Slavery and Violence
This book is reminiscent of the old Jedi Apprentice novels, and any fans of that saga will definitely enjoy this one. This is another story of Qui Gon and Obi Wan as master and apprentice, and once again they have the same issues of being very different people with very different behaviours. An unlikely match that does work wonders when they learn to find each other in the middle.
The plot was a bit slow at times, and certain matters got a bit repetitive, but overall it's a solid Star Wars novel. Not the best Star Wars written by Claudia Gray, but definitely good.
And Claudia Gray has become one of my favourite Star Wars authors among the ones that have joined the saga with the new canon. So I definitely recommend anything written by her.
