I love the Emily Wilde books, they scratch a very particular itch for me. I love the characters and the adventure and the magic in the world building. I love the academic language and rhetoric used in this book and hadn’t realized I had really been missing it in my literature. I also love the autism rep and feel like it is done really well. I love the romance between Emily and Wendell, and all of the pets are so cute and so fun and I love them. What a joy it was to be in this world again and I can’t wait to read book three.
