Not That I'd Kiss A Girl: A Kiwi girl's tale of coming out and coming of age by Lil O'Brien

3.0

Nice to read about places that I love, and find so much recognisable in the landscapes of this story. Definitely some moments that made me think, particularly about the relationship between myself and my parents. I did find the level of privilege that she experiences somewhat frustrating, and the constant drunkenness, but even within that, some of her insights were worthwhile.
Not amazing, but definitely interesting, and valuable as a real story of coming to terms with both yourself and your family.
