I picked this one up again for an elementary school book club. I loved rereading it. I had a different perspective this time since I already knew things Sal couldn't say. Such a great book.

I loved it. Probably for several reasons. There is so much to learn from this book--lots of layers. Wow, what a twist I didn't see coming. I was surprised down to my socks and I love to be surprised like that in a book. I also enjoy Sharon Creech's writing style. Her books are easy to get lost in.
