I just love how Abby handles emotional abuse from “narcissists” (I can’t really diagnose but I know people who act like Ali’s family and are narcissists). The story was so sweet and cute, the scenes in Wakan entertained me so much there was a magical feel to the town that I understand some people don’t want to leave!. Daniel was an absolute green flag of a man, Abby seems to know how to write them, and their last phone call broke my heart and had me sobbing. My only regret is that I wish I read this first before just for the summer because I think reading this and I’m sire with yours truly would make JFTS more special since I don’t know what happens to the characters we meet, overall the book was a delight to read, great characters, believable conflicts, sweet romance and life lessons sprinkled here and there.
