Apocalyptic Mannequin: The Definition of Body is Buried by Stephanie M. Wytovich

4.0

i don’t feel super comfortable doing a full on review of this right now, because i’m not super great with analyzing/reviewing poetry yet since i’m still fairly new to it. but i can say this was way more difficult to read on an emotional level than Brothel, due to a pandemic and fascist presidency making an upcoming apocalypse all the more possible and terrifying. it was still very beautifully written, if not more than a little achingly depressing.
