Once in a Full Moon by Ellen Schreiber

From the author of the acclaimed Vampire Kisses series, this didn't disappoint. I suspect from the way it ended that she will continue in the tradition of Vampire Kisses and make this a series or at the very least I do expect a sequel. The book is chock full of generic young adult angst of fitting in, liking people outside of your clique, the strains of young adult friendships and being oneself. The characters are, as typical for the author, compelling teens in a world of the paranormal. Although in contrast to Raven from the Vampire Kisses series I find that Celeste's immediate acceptance of Brandon's condition is surprising since she has no real background in love of the paranormal, unlike Raven whose whole life has practically been filed with her love of vampires. Overall I liked it though and will prolly read the sequel when it comes out.
