Waiting On Forever by E.M. Lindsey
4.0
This was a total gem of a story! I connected a lot more with the characters and the plot in this one than I did with the first book in the series, but I mean come on, Jet is a total sweetheart and I completely fell for him.
This is a slow burn story, it deals with insecurities, vulnerability and relearning trust after toxic relationship. Jet and Taylor were so sweet together and I like how patient they were with each other. I must say that I’m a fan of books that are positive about sex workers and don’t bring it up as an issue or deal breaker between the characters, I really appreciate how this topic has been handled in this series so far.
I absolutely adore Jet, I loved how affectionate he was and all his nicknames for people. Him and Taylor both were just such precious and genuine characters. I always admire how well E.M. Lindsey writes diverse characters. They have a way of writing that comes across as respectful and authentic to me, and the characters struggles always feel natural and not forced or unnecessary.
The book left me curious about the other sins, especially King and Flint, and I’m really looking forward to more books in this series!
