Project ELE by Rebecca Gober, Courtney Nuckels

1.0

I could have perhaps looked past the shallow characters, weak plot and lackadaisical conflicts (although there were tiny glimmers of promise here and there), but there is no reason for a published book to be difficult to wade through due to punctuation, spelling and grammatical errors. Unbelievable. I hoped and hoped that the book would pull itself together at some point and throw me a curve ball, but after reading the final page, I was left with feelings of disappointment and frustration. I was very mildly intrigued with the last couple pages because I wonder how the authors will tie 100,000 seemingly unresolved issues together, but I absolutely refuse to subject myself to another book in which words like "clique" and "loser" are misspelled. I love that authors can self-publish, but PLEASE show some respect for yourselves as authors as well as your readers by thoroughly editing your work or shell out a few bucks for a professional to do so.
