I really enjoyed this dark magical book, well about books. I started with book of doors and wanted something similar and I will say this book is more global. There’s magic from the world. The story is told through three different perspectives and I really enjoyed it when we finally got to the connection. I didn’t really get hooked until the third chapter so push through if you’re struggling, it’s highly worth it. I really really loved it. The way the author wrote the backstory for Isabel is really well done. I was so sucked in.
Honestly, I loved that two of the characters were so socially awkward.
